April 9, 2024The most important difference will be on....What will you use it for?
Is it good for gaming?...probably not, as it is heavier than most mice.
Is it good for normal computer use (macOS)? Yes, it pairs well with Apple computers and the scrolling (horizontally and vertically) is excellent as you don't have to deal with "mechanical" scroll. There are other gestures that can be helpful and but those depend on whether you want to enable them or not.
Is it good for normal computer use (windows/others)? Possibly yes, the normal functions of a mouse will work just fine, but don't expect the same gestures you can get in MacOS since Windows would be the one to determine what it will let the mouse do or not do.
Battery life is good, but if you use it like crazy don't expect to have superb battery life, normal use will last you a couple of months. Do consider that you CANNOT use the mouse while it is charging, so plan accordingly.

October 11, 2023You would think Apple would improve this mouse but they have not. Yeah, it kind of looks cool and you're thinking it will look great with my new expensive Mac, well, I urge you to reconsider. Yes, there are many positive reviews but come on folks, why? Why does this product deserve such high marks? 1. The mouse will not respond at all when you startup (not restart) your computer and need it to move the cursor over to the user profile for the account you want to log into. READ THAT AGAIN. There is something wrong with the Bluetooth connection. The mouse only works AFTER you use another mouse to select a profile and entered the password. (I troubleshooted this many ways, same result each time.) 2. Very uncomfortable and awkward to hold. 3. Skid plates are terrible. They are not slick at all. They do not easily glide on any surface even the most expensive you can buy mouse pad. 4. You can not use the mouse when it is recharging. You have to flip the mouse on its back to plug in a lightening cable. Guess that is Apple's way of telling you take a break for a few hours, you don't need or can work while the mouse recharges.
Life is too short to put up with crappy products like this. Walk away from it and buy another mouse. I like and found Logitech and Razer work well with any Mac and have NONE of the ridiculous problems that this mouse has.
[Rewarded Review] Great Aesthetic designs. Lacks ergonomics.

January 13, 2024I’ve always used Logitech mice, but for the first time, I thought I should give this a try. There is a slight learning curve to this mouse. It’s extremely low-profile, so if you have monstrous-sized hands, this probably isn’t the mouse for you. Aesthetically, this mouse looks great, and it’s made with high quality material. I’m in front of a computer all day for work, so the different swipe features are amazing! You can go into the mouse settings and even customize different features for finger gestures, like a track pad.
The mouse uses a lightning cable charger. It’s on the bottom of the mouse, so you cannot use it while charging. While some have complained about this, I think it’s a very minor flaw, considering the battery life is phenomenal. I haven’t had the need to charge it since I took it out of the box. It came out of the box at 65% and I used it for a little over 2 months, and I’m currently at 49%. Keep in mind, I use this mouse 40 hrs./week.
My only complaint is how it lacks ergonomically. It doesn’t really have any grooves or curves for my fingers and palm to rest. My hands are a relatively small, so I can deal with it, but if you have long fingers, you will probably get cramps.

September 3, 2024I'm not much on the little trackpads, even when I'm traveling...I always have a small one. so I had high hopes for this mouse...especially since I had heard good things about the Magic Mouse to go w my new 2024 M3 Macbook Air.
At 1st it seemed fine, until I noticed it start skipping around a bit and me having to move it every time just to get it to keep pace w what I was doing. Quite frustrating! Then I couldn't do anything, even a word without it becoming a problem. It's like it's trying to perform a Hawai'in dance or a slow hula hoop and you have to catch it. It drives you crazy! I'm used to something VERY RESPONSIVE, ON POINT, %26 TO THE LETTER! If I have to chase it down or switch to trackpad in the middle of an email.
